Relatives of Kevin Lik, convicted in case on high treason, alarmed by no information on his whereabouts

Relatives of 18-year-old Kevin Lik from Maykop, sentenced for high treason, cannot obtain information about his whereabouts after he was transferred from Krasnodar to the Arkhangelsk Region, where he was supposed to serve his sentence, his mother says.

According to Victoria Lik’s version, she cannot establish the whereabouts of her son after he was transferred from a SIZO (pre-trial prison) in Krasnodar in early June, the “OVD-Info”* reports in its Telegram channel. The young man’s mother failed to obtain any information about his whereabouts in the administrations of the SIZOs in Saratov and Kirov, which are located on her son’s supposed route, the Kevin Lik’s support group reported in its “The Story of Kevin Lik” Telegram channel.

On December 28, 2023, a court sentenced Kevin Lik to four years of imprisonment. The young man has citizenships of Germany and Russia. According to the Russian investigators’ version, Kevin Lik provided assistance to Germany in “activities directed against the security of the Russian Federation.” Public prosecutors suggest that, as a schoolboy, Kevin Lik observed a local military unit and photographed its locations.
