Kuban female streamer accused of discrediting Russian militaries
Law enforcers have drawn up a protocol on discrediting the Russian Army against Maria Borzova, a resident of the Krasnodar Territory (also known as Kuban by the name of the main river), for criticizing the participants of the special military operation (SMO) in Ukraine during a live broadcast on the Internet. Borzova herself has objected claiming that her words were taken out of context, and that she criticized only those militaries who lead an immoral lifestyle.
In her page in the "VKontakte" social network, Maria has explained that she had a conflict with a former SMO fighter, who led an immoral lifestyle. During the stream, she criticized him. According to her version, some unknown persons had cut out a piece from her video and, under the guise that she had allegedly criticized all the SMO participants, posted the piece on the Internet.
"An investigation is underway; I am ready to bear any punishment [if my guilt is proven]," Maria Borzova has stressed.
The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that the court had fined Marina Melikhova, an activist, by 30,000 roubles under the article on discrediting the Russian Army for her poem that was posted on the YouTube by some other person.
