Astrakhan resident fined for her comments on social network

In the Akhtubinsky District of the Astrakhan Region, a court fined local resident Alexandra Toropchina 30,000 roubles, recognizing that her comments posted on the “VKontakte” social network discredited the Russian Armed Forces.

The “Caucasian Knot” has also reported that in August, the Kirovsky District Court of Astrakhan returned to the law enforcement bodies a case instituted against local resident Aslan Kuanyshev for discrediting the Russian Armed Forces, pointing out violations in case materials.
