In Adygea, conscript accused of evading military service

A resident of the Maikop District has been accused of evading conscription for the military service, and the case has been sent to court, the Investigating Department for Adygea of Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) reports.

According to the investigators’ version, the young man “has been evading appearing at the military commissariat of the Maikop District since February 2019, as a result of which he was brought to administrative responsibility in February 2024.”

The young man was required to appear at the military commissariat upon summons to undergo a medical examination. However, wanting to evade military service, the man did not appear at the medical examination and hid from employees of the military commissariat, the ICRF’s Investigating Department for Adygea reported.
