Gymnasium teacher in Vladikavkaz fired for blue and yellow clothes

The administration of the Orthodox gymnasium in Vladikavkaz has fired a female teacher after she came to the establishment in a blue blouse and a yellow skirt.

Svetlana Kotsoeva's clothes attracted the attention of a clergyman, who demanded that the school administration fire her, the human rights project "OVD-Info"* has reported.

The gymnasium principal told Kotsoeva that she should write a resignation letter, since the gymnasium is "under the diocese's jurisdiction." Kotsoeva's colleagues spoke in her defence, but despite this she was fired.

The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that residents of Southern Russia, including North Ossetia, are regularly punished for discrediting the Russian Army.
