Astrakhan resident publicly apologizes for swearing in bus
The Astrakhan Regional Branch of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has posted another video with a local resident's public apology, in which an Astrakhan resident apologized and repented for using foul language in public transport.
"I called names, pestered, used foul language, and gesticulated in public transport. I ask everyone to forgive me," said the man in the video posted in the "VKontakte" social network.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that over the past month the Astrakhan Regional Branch of the Russian MIA had posted a number of videos on the Internet in which local residents publicly apologized for various offences. Analysts have noted that by forcing offenders to apologize on camera, law enforcers are trying to artificially increase the importance of their activities, and this humiliating measure has no prophylactic effect.
Let us remind you that on September 27 and 28, two video clips were released with Astrakhan residents apologizing to townspeople for shooting into the air near a cafe and a restaurant; and on September 20, the above branch posted a video with an apology from an Astrakhan resident for shooting an air pistol at a bus with passengers.
