Nine people fall victim to fuelling station explosion in Grozny

Four people perished and five others were wounded and received burns in an explosion at a fuelling station in Grozny.

A fuel tank has exploded at the fuelling station located in Muhammad Ali Avenue in Grozny, after which a fire started. As a result, four persons perished, including two children, the Ministry for Emergencies (MfE) has informed in its Telegram channel.

Besides, five people received minor burns and traumas; they refused hospitalization, the Chechen Ministry of Public Health has added.

On September 27, an explosion occurred at a fuelling station in Dagestan killing 13 and wounding 11 people. It was at least the 15th incident of explosions and fires at fuelling stations in Dagestan in 10 years. At least 54 people perished in them, the "Caucasian Knot" has counted.

After each explosion, authorities promised to solve the safety problem of fuelling stations in Dagestan, but this never happened.
