Mobilized man from Adygea convicted of desertion

A court in Maykop has sentenced Ramazan Bidanok, a mobilized local resident, to seven years in custody, finding him guilty of desertion and unauthorized abandonment of his military unit.

In August 2023, Bidanok left his place of service and first lived in Donetsk, and then in the dwelling settlement of Tlyustenkhabl in the Teuchezhsky District of Adygea. This March, he was detained by the police.

During the investigation of his criminal case, Bidanok was assigned to a unit in Maykop. On June 14, he went home again and was detained on August 21. This time, Bidanok was accused of desertion, according to the website of the Maykop Garrison Military Court.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 28, the court sentenced Konstantin Zhurba, a serviceman from Maykop, to seven years of freedom deprivation, also finding him guilty of desertion and unauthorized abandonment of his military unit.
