SMO fighter from Stavropol denied psychological rehabilitation
Ivan Elpashev has complained of a severe mental state after participating in the special military operation (SMO) in Ukraine, and asked to be sent for psychological rehabilitation, but doctors, and then the court, refused him.
According to the case materials, the serviceman from the Stavropol Territory took part in the SMO from April to October 2022, after which he underwent a military medical commission at the hospital. According to the examination results, Elpashev needs no psychological rehabilitation.
He himself asserts that the doctor's conclusion was biased. Elpashev pointed out his increased fatigue and other symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder. He filed a lawsuit against the administration of the military hospital, but the court treated the refusal of psychological rehabilitation as legal, says the website of the Southern District Military Court.
On December 16, 2024, Zurab Khamkhi, a father of five children, complained about delays in the allocation of land plot in Ingushetia to him as a participant in the SMO in Ukraine.
