Family of mobilized soldier from Rostov Region seeks compensation for his death

Relatives of Igor Tatarov, a mobilized resident of the Rostov Region, appealed to the court with a claim to recognize that the man perished in the zone of the special military operation in Ukraine, since without such a recognition, the authorities do not assign compensation for his death.

Aleksandr Tatarov requests the court to recognize the fact that the cause of his sons death on May 5, 2024, was an injury got in the zone of the special military operation (SMO). The soldiers father explained that the commander of the military unit in Lugansk wrote that Igor Tatarov died of cerebral edema which was not connected with his military service.
