Saint Petersburg: commission issues warning to Seda Suleimanova's friend
Elena Patyaeva has been warned for posting leaflets in Saint Petersburg in which she demanded to clarify Seda Suleimanova's fate.
"The commission decided to limit itself to issuing me a warning (instead of a fine). I must note that all the commission members understood and even were sympathetic to my motives when they found out what my leaflets were about, and who Seda Suleimanova was and what happened to her. I thank them for that. Such seemingly insignificant moments help not to lose faith in people’s humanity," Elena Patyaeva wrote in the Telegram channel "Where is Seda?"
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Elena Patyaeva, a friend of Seda Suleimanova, who was taken to her relatives in Chechnya, posted leaflets on the Kadyrov Bridge in Saint Petersburg. She stated that the inquiry Seda's disappearance had yielded no results in 10 months.
In April 2024, it became known that the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) was investigating Suleimanova's disappearance under the murder article.
