The fighters of the “Timso” detachment of the “Akhmat” special forces state that blogger Areg Schepikhin has made indecent statements about the Chechen people and Muslims. In a video posted by Apti Alaudinov, the commander of the “Akhmat” special forces, on his Telegram channel, four men in military uniform, who introduced themselves as fighters of the “most international unit, the ‘Akhmat’ special forces,” have claimed that blogger Areg Schepikhin should be executed for “insults on his part by nationality, calls for genocide, and fascism." “According to the law of wartime, such a man should be put against the wall and executed without trial or investigation,” the fighter stated in the video.
The fighter has noted that while the military action has been underway since 2022, Areg Schepikhin “is brave enough” to voice such calls in the rear. There are four fighters in the video, and only one of them speaks.
