Grenade launcher from Volgograd region killed in Ukraine

Denis Deikin was killed in combat in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the military operation, at least 1,238 fighters from the Volgograd region have been officially recognized as killed in it.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, by July 6, at least 1,237 fighters from the Volgograd region were officially recognized as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.

48-year-old Denis Deikin from the Deminsky farm in the Novoanninsky district was killed in the military operation, the Volgograd municipal publication "Gorodskie Vesti" reported on July 6.

Deikin signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense in April 2023 and served as a grenade launcher in a motorized rifle squad. He was killed on July 29, 2024, the publication says.

Thus, at least 1,238 fighters from the Volgograd region have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation. The "Caucasian Knot" maintains a list of names of natives of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts killed in the military operation. The list was compiled based on data officially announced by government officials and law enforcement agencies, according to the "Caucasian Knot" report "Statistics of the SVO: Losses are growing for the south of Russia".
