Over 500 refugees returned to South Ossetia during the last day

According to the Ministry for Emergencies, more than 500 refugees, 150 children among them, have returned to South Ossetia during the last 24 hours from the temporary accommodation centres located in the south of Russia.

Today, the press service of the Southern Regional Centre of the Ministry for Emergencies has reported that currently the temporary accommodation centres located in the territory of the subjects of the GFD are lodging 4252 persons, including 1925 children.

According to the "Caucasian Knot", the electronic database of the Federal Migratory Service of Russia contains data on 33,358 forced migrants from South Ossetia.

Delivery has been organized of the humanitarian goods arriving to South Ossetia from the subjects of the Russian Federation. According to the Ministry for Emergencies, in total, 4393 tons of humanitarian aid were delivered to North Ossetia. The government of North Ossetia is in charge of aid distribution.
