Ingushetia: Magomed Evloev's murder case sent to court

The Investigatory Committee at the Prosecutor's Office (ICPO) of Russia has finished the investigation and sent to the court the criminal case on the murder of Magomed Evloev, owner of the oppositional website "Ingushetia.Ru" (now "Ingushetia.Org").

We remind you that Evloev's colleagues and friends are running their own investigation of the circumstances of his death, on the results of which on September 20 they announced the list of "those under blood feud" for taking part in murdering the well-known oppositionist. The list headed by President of Ingushetia Murat Zyazikov comprises 13 high-ranking officials and employees of the Republic's law enforcement bodies.

The ICPO has reported today that charges of "causing death by inadvertency" were presented to the namesake of the victim and employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ingushetia Ibragim Evloev, the "Echo Moskvy" Radio reports.
