Deputy joins hunger strike of miners-pensioners in Rostov Region
Yesterday, on January 28, Valery Dyakonov, Deputy of the Municipal Duma of the city of Zverevo, joined the hunger strike of the miners-pensioners who demand enforcement of court decisions on granting them privileges on residential heating.
"Now I'm together with other participants of the protest action in an apartment located in the Tchaikovsky Street," Valery Dyakonov told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
According to his story, today in the morning an ambulance was called to the place of the action: the doctors offered to one of the protesters - Nikolai Kadzhaev - hospitalization because of high blood pressure, but he refused.
"Yesterday I disseminated an appeal to the Mayor and Public Prosecutor of Zverevo, in which I stated that if something happens with me, it'll be driving a person to suicide, and the guilt will fall on local authorities. There's no answer from the Mayor and Public Prosecutor. For myself, I demand no privileges on heating; I have no court decision in hand, as other participants of the hunger strike do. But I can't stay aside," said the deputy.
We remind you that 124 residents of Zverevo have already filed their complaints to the European Court on Human Rights.
