Charge presented to the resident of Ingushetia suspected of blowing up the "Neva-Express" train

The Prosecutor's Office has presented an official charge to Maksharip Khidriev, a native of Ingushetia, suspected of involvement in blowing up the "Neva-Express" train on August 13 this year. It was reported today by Ramazan Khasanov, advocate of Maksharip's brother - Amirkhan Khidriev - another suspect in the same case.

According to Mr Khasanov, the charge was presented to Maksharip Khidriev under Article 205, Part 2, Point "a", of the Russian Criminal Code (terrorism), which envisages punishment in the form of imprisonment for the term from 8 to 15 years.

The "Caucasian Knot" informed earlier that there were several suspects in the case on blowing up the "Neva-Express" train. The latest were brothers Amirkhan and Maksharip Khidrievs. It is necessary to note that Hidrievs' colleagues keep asserting their absolute alibi. Besides, on November 6, Murad Yunusov, Maksharip Hidriev's advocate, stated that his client had provided the investigation with a list of witnesses who can confirm that on the day of the terror act Maksharip was away from the Malaya Vishera District.
