Khudyakov and Arakcheev found guilty of murdering three Chechnya residents

The North-Caucasian Regional Military Court has found officers of Internal Troops Sergey Arakcheev and Evgeniy Khudyakov guilty of murdering three persons, residents of Chechnya.

Khudyakov and Arakcheev were accused of kidnapping and illegal detention of a person, and also of murdering three employees of a civil engineering company who were erecting a military object of Federal Troops in Chechnya.

Both suspects rejected all the points of the indictment, the RIA "Novosti" reports.

We remind you that the announcement of the verdict was reappointed from December 25 to today. During the debate of the parties, which was over on December 10, the prosecution had demanded to sentence Arakcheev and Khudyakov to 18 and 20 years of imprisonment respectively, while the defendants' advocates insisted that the court should acquit them completely.
