"Dosh" magazine banned in Ingushetia for publishing Ruslan Aushev's interview

According to Abdullah Duduev, chief-editor of the "Dosh" magazine, dissemination of his magazine was prohibited in the Republic because it had published an interview with the former Republic's leader Ruslan Aushev. Mr Duduev has informed his journalists about it today.

However, according to the chief-editor, it has not hampered the distribution of the magazine, on the contrary, is has caused an even greater resonance. The editor added that people have already bought out half of the stock and distributed it in Ingushetia. "We had anticipated this reaction; something similar was in 2004, when our magazine published the first interview with Mr Aushev," Abdullah Duduev said.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported earlier that now opposition in Ingushetia is gathering signatures in favour of Ruslan Aushev's return to the post of the President. The organizers of the action assert that Aushev is the only person capable to cope with the unstable situation in the Republic.
