Jury selection in the case of attack on Nalchik in Kabardino-Balkaria suspended
The Kabardino-Balkaria Supreme Court adjourned its hearing of the case of the attack on Nalchik's power authority sights in 2005 till August 14.
After an almost three-week's break, the court was to resume the jury selection procedure today. However, the Radio "Liberty" reports that the hearing has been adjourned because three lawyers failed to arrive.
"Because the lawyers have failed to arrive, the court hearing has been put off to August 14", reported Magomed Abubakarov, lawyer of one of the defendants, to the agency "Interfax-Yug".
Kabardino-Balkaria Supreme Court has taken a decision of selecting new jury members because, as of June 24, only 6 persons out of 145 remained in the list after grounded objections. An almost one month's break of the hearing has been announced.
