Trial on attack on Nalchik continues choosing jurymen

Today, the Supreme Court of Kabardino-Balkaria continued selecting reserve jurymen for the case on the attack of militants on Nalchik in October 2005.

Advocate Magomed Abubakarov told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that today the defence finished interrogating the defendants. The prosecution party has taken time to get ready for interrogation.

It was reported earlier that some 50 persons came to the third round of selection of jurymen. Of them 6 self-disqualified yesterday. Today, 39 persons appeared in the courtroom, of them several more have disqualified themselves.

Magomed Abubakarov said that he was worried with the state of health of his client Rasul Kudaev. "Rasul complains of headaches and liver pain. I'm going to lodge a petition to the SIZO head asking to get him examined," Abubakarov said.

Zaur Erzhibov who was sick earlier is now OK and takes part in the hearings.
