Georgian opposition plans general nationwide disobedience

The Georgian opposition, which demands Mikhail Saakashvili's resignation, plans to declare the general disobedience all over the country. This was stated by Gubaz Sanikidze, one of the leaders of the National Forum, at the rally near the building of the Parliament of Georgia.

Earlier, the oppositionists have stated that they find today's negotiations with President Saakashvili fruitless; their views are radically different from President's ones; in their opinion, the latter is inadequately assessing the crisis in the country.

"In the nearest two days, most of oppositional leaders will go to regions," said Mr Sanikidze. According to his story, as the "Georgia Online" Agency reports, the opposition believes that Batumi will be the first to join the action, then, other cities of Georgia will follow.

Mr Sanikidze promised to present, tomorrow, at 5:00 p.m., an action plan with indication of dates and venues, having added that the fight will be continued till its logic end - Mikhail Saakashvili's resignation.
