Delimkhanov, State Duma deputy from Chechnya searched by Interpol, works in his usual way
More than two weeks have expired after the Interpol had announced search of Adam Delimkhanov, a Russian State Duma deputy, a figurant in the case about the attempt on Sulim Yamadaev, ex-commander of the "Vostok" battalion. In the meantime, Mr Delimkhanov is working in his usual way.
"During the 'regional week' (from April 26 to May 3, - comment of the "Caucasian Knot") the Deputy communicated with labour collectives and with the youth, that is, as any Deputy should, he had meetings with voters in the place of election," said Ruslanbek Dakuev, Adam Delimkhanov's assistant for working with the electorate.
According to another Deputy's assistant, Mr Delimkhanov cannot talk to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, as he is too busy: "quite a lot of work both in Chechnya and in Moscow ".
For three days in a row the Investigatory Committee at the Prosecutor's Office (ICPO) of the Russian Federation could not answer the question of the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent whether the documents on Adam Delimkhanov's case had arrived, and if not, what the terms are of delivering them from the Interpol to the RF.
