Georgia: unknown persons kidnap opposition activist
Irakliy Kordzai, leader of the movement named "Why?", reports that in Tbilisi unidentified persons kidnapped one of the activists of the opposition - Shalva Goginashvili, 21, a member of the organization "April 9".
During the last 24 hours it is not the first attack on oppositionists. The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 15 unknown persons attacked the "city of cells", as a result, dozens of oppositionists suffered. On that very day, the police of Tbilisi detained 39 participants of the action of the opposition held in front of the building of the central administration of Georgia's MIA.
According to Irakliy Kordzai, leader of the movement "Why?", Mr Goginashvili was in the territory of "Park Vake" in Tbilisi with his girlfriend, when 12 persons attacked him, forced him into a car and took away in an unknown place, the "Gazeta.Ru" reports.
The "Interfax" adds that Shalva Goginashvili was an active participant of protest actions.
