Suspects of attempt on Evkurov detained in Moscow

Two Moscow residents, who had sold the number plates from the Lexus car hijacked in Moscow to the Toyota, which was used by the suicide bomber to blow up the cortege of President of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Evkurov, were detained in Russian capital.

"Two persons have been detained," said a source in law enforcement bodies of Ingushetia. "They are Moscow residents and for a long time were engaged in hijacking. They had sold the number plates from the Lexus that was hijacked in Moscow to the Toyota, which was blown up by the suicide bomber, when he rushed into the President's cortege."

According to the source, now the detained hijackers are interrogated. "We hope they can lead us to the organizers of that resonant attack. They surely know whom they had sold the number plates to," the "Newsru.com" quotes the source as saying.
