Ingush FSB: Albakov's kidnapping was staged by his accomplices

The kidnapping of the resident of Ingushetia Batyr Albakov, who was then killed on July 21 during special operation in Sunzha District of the republic, was imitated by his accomplices with the aim to conceal the fact of his departure to militants. This is the opinion of the Department of FSB for Ingushetia.

According to the DFSB, Batyr Albakov, 26, whose kidnapping was announced by his relatives two weeks ago, was found on Tuesday, July 21, in a dense forest in the vicinity of Arshty village, Sunzha District, by the agents of the DFSB and Ministries of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Ingushetia and Chechnya.

The DFSB asserts that Albakov was suggested to surrender, but he opened fire on militiamen. He was killed by reciprocal fire. In the place of the incident a Kalashnikov and ammunition to it were found.

Magomed Mutsolgov, an Ingush human rights activist and a member of the Expert Board on Human Rights in the Russian Federation, asserts that Albakov's body had torture traces in the form of plural haematomas and knife wounds, which could not be received in a combat clash.
