In Rostov Region, July 25 was announced the mourning day

Today, Sergey Nazarov, Vice-Governor of the Rostov Region, has informed the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that a day of mourning was announced in the region to commemorate 21 casualties in the accident near Samarskoe village, Rostov Region.

According to Mr Nazarov, as a result of the accident that happened today at 12:40 a.m. at the 1106th kilometre of Federal Highway М-4 "Don" Moscow-Sochi, in the territory of the Azov District, Rostov Region, 19 persons were lost in situ, and two more died on the way to the hospital. Eight persons were hospitalized.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the cause of the accident was exit to the opposite lane of a gasoline tank truck. Its owner is still unknown, but its license plate was registered.
