After terror act in Ingushetia, fates of several persons remain unknown
In Ingushetia, ruins after the explosion on August 17 in Nazran are still cleared away. Vakha Chapanov, head of the Ingush Information Agency "Maximum", said to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that the fate of several persons remains unknown.
"Rescuers cannot say for sure that they have extracted all the people and bodies from under the ruins. Until all the ruins are excavated, the question will no get its final answer. Until now, there are persons regarded as missing. They cannot be found in hospitals, at workplaces, anywhere," said Mr Chapanov.
He has noted that the situation in Ingushetia remains tense: "People are shot dead almost every day; just not all the cases are covered by the media. Only some information sources and human rights activists try to bring this information to the public."
On 17-10 August, all entertaining events are cancelled in Ingushetia: relatives will bury the victims. The decree announcing the mourning was signed by acting President Rashid Gaisanov.
"Relatives of the casualties will receive help at a rate of 100,000 roubles, and those wounded and damaged - of 50,000 roubles each. In future, probably, some more assistance will be allocated to the victims," said Mr Chapanov.
