Ingushetia: relatives of special operation casualties complain of extrajudicial execution
After the end of the active phase of the special operation conducted in Ekazhevo village, relatives of those murdered there insist that it was an extrajudicial execution.
Let us remind you that according to the latest data on March 2, as a result of a special operation in Ekazhevo, Nazran District, four suspected militants were killed and fifteen more detained. Earlier, it was reported about 6 killed and 11 detained rebels.
As a result of the operation, four Kartoev brothers were assassinated: Tukhan, Nazir, Ahmed and Magomed. Three more brothers - Tarkhan, Tatarkhan and Beslan were detained. Two other villagers - supposedly Dobrievs -were also killed. Their names are unknown yet, as the "Ingushetia.Org" Agency reported in the evening on March 3.
Eyewitnesses report that all the three houses of Kartoev brothers are in ruins. Two more villagers - Yakub Aushev and his son - were detained.
Eyewitnesses assert that backfire was opened only from the Dobrievs' house, where a real skirmish was conducted by law enforcers.
Meanwhile, according to the agency, shots are still heard in Ekazhevo. As reported by a source in law enforcement bodies, "special actions are still on there." On the preliminary data, the special operation announced completed yesterday continues today.
According to the source in law enforcement bodies, the venue is still cordoned, and nobody is let in.
It turned out that militiamen started a skirmish with the supposed militant who survived in the special operation area and wounded a militiaman.
According to the source, a man was hiding in the place of the special operation under ruins of one of the houses in Ekazhevo and opened fire on militiamen injuring one of them. He was killed by response fire.
The "Interfax" reports that the bandit is now identified, and examination of the vicinities continues.
Among those, who were earlier detained by power agents, employees of law enforcement bodies may be. "Presumably, two of them are employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) and three - of the STSI (State Traffic Safety Inspectorate, known in Russia as "GIBDD")," the source has reported.
The regional law enforcement bodies assert that the militants' grouping liquidated on March 2 in Ingushetia planned to commit a terror act dated to the visit to the republic of Russian Premier Vladimir Putin and his deputy - President's Plenipotentiary in the NCFD (North-Caucasian Federal District) Alexander Khloponin.
As earlier reported by the "Caucasian Knot", power agents had blocked several houses in the Ingush village of Ekazhevo, where under operative data militants were hiding. The counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime was introduced in the Nazran District. Power agents demanded from suspected militants to surrender, but they answered with fire. Under operative information, the blocked members of IAFs (illegal armed formations) had to do with a number of attacks on law enforcers, bombardments and mine planting in the vicinity of law enforcement bodies, apartment houses where employees of militia and their relatives live.
Let us note here that earlier the CTO regime was announced in Ingushetia on February 11 in the villages of Dattykh and Arshty, where, according to power agencies, as group of 25 militants was detected. According to the ICPO, in the evening on February 12, in the place of the special operation 14 bodies of supposed militants were found. Subsequently, it became clear that four of the casualties were peaceful Chechen residents who were gathering ramson in the place of the operation.
