Raid on editorial office of Milliet newspaper
Though the authorities assure they are seeking after normalization of relations with all the mass media, regardless of their political orientation, pressure on opposition periodicals still goes on. On October 22, a group of people in mufti conducted a raid on the editorial office of the opposition Milliet newspaper. The editorial staff told "Turan" the attackers started to insult them blaming for support to Musavat leader Isa Gambar. The malefactors tried to steal some office equipment by they failed.
