The mediators reiterated adherence of their countries to peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict and noted progress and "recognition by both parties of the fact that the elements formulated in the statement of Presidents of Russia, USA and France last year in Aquila and reconfirmed on June 26, 2010, should be the basis of peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict."

The mediators also called the parties to strictly observe the 1994 ceasefire agreement.

The co-chairs also hoped for the meeting of foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia on July 16-17 in Almaty during the OSCE informal ministerial conference. However, Elkhan Polukhov, spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, said that there were no such arrangements.
