Georgian opposition breaks off negotiations with government
The radical Georgian opposition has broken off negotiations with the government and has urged all of its supporters to protest in Tbilisi.
"All of the resources in the negotiations with the government have been used up. Thus a mass meeting will take place in Tbilisi on Friday, at 4 p.m., the only demand in which will be the impeachment of President Shevardnadze," one of the opposition leaders Mikhail Saakashvili said at a meeting on Thursday.
