Persons kidnapped in Gudermes district, Chechnya, still missing

The search for the kidnappers and the persons kidnapped on the night of February 9 in the Gudermes district, Chechnya, has yielded no results.

This has been reported to the "Caucasian Knot" at the republic's MIA. According to the militia officer, the incident took place last night in the village of Novy Benoy, Gudermes district, Chechnya. "According to the information available at the moment, a group of armed men wearing camouflage and driving cars with tinted glass windows kidnapped two young people in the village of Novy Benoy last night. The search for the kidnappers has yielded no results, so far. An operational investigative group is now working on the scene. The issue of initiating a criminal case is under consideration," he said.
