Children in North Osetia will be taught tolerance

A two-day seminar devoted to tolerance and rights of the child finished in Vladikavkaz on October 30. Over 30 teachers of different nationalities from North Osetian schools participated in the seminar.

Issues of forming the youth subculture in a polyethnic environment and problems of tolerance in educational courses were discussed during the seminar. The training "Tolerance: Stereotypes and Prejudices" were conducted for the teachers too.

The action was arranged by the Danish and Caucasian Refugee Councils.

  • Defender of Sochi gardeners' rights claims illegal prosecution

    Law enforcers have conducted a search of the home of Tatiana Polivanova, an activist, and her family members in Taganrog in connection with a fraud case with land plots of the Sochi National Park. The Polivanova's organization provided legal assistance to dozens of gardeners whose plots were seized by the court within this case.
