Negative attitude to Armenia molded in Turkey
The Turkish-Armenian Business Development Council, along with a group of academicians, conducted a public opinion poll in 12 towns of Turkey on December 3. 2,183 were questioned during it.
The attitude of the Turkish public to Armenia can not be called ambiguous, according to the results of the poll. 74% of the Turks believe Armenia has territorial claims against Turkey, which shows that the "psychology of hostility" has been molded in Turkey. 44.7% of the respondents find it necessary to advance relationships with Armenia, whereas 43.5% are against it.
