In Makhachkala, relatives of kidnapped Rustam Ismailov gather near building of Kirov ROVD

Relatives of Rustam Ismailov, kidnapped in the village of Semender in Dagestan, believe that he is being kept at the Kirov ROVD (District Interior Division) of Makhachkala. At present, they are gathering near the ROVD building.

The "Caucasian Knot" ha s reported that today, at about 7:15 p.m., on the road from the village of Semender to Makhachkala, unidentified persons kidnapped Rustam Ismailov, born in 1980. This was stated by the relatives of the kidnapped man.

"Witnesses said that the kidnappers drove in two cars and shot to Rustam Ismailov; then, they forced him into one of the cars and drove away to some unknown destination. Rustam's phone does not respond," the "Caucasian Knot" was told by one of the relatives of the kidnapped man, who preferred to remain anonymous.

According to Sabina, a relative of Rustam Ismailov, the kidnappers were two persons.

"They drove in two cars, and one of them was a VAZ-2114 car of silver colour with number 804. According to eyewitnesses, three police UAZ cars were parked nearby. When Rustam was caught, he managed to escape; however, then they caught him and forced into the car of silver colour. UAZ cars followed them," Sabina said.

Officers from the unit on duty of the Kirov ROVD told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that they had no detainee with such data. "He was not brought to our Division," a police representative stated.

However, family members and Gadjimurad Ismailov, a lawyer of the "Kavkaz" Bar, representing the interests of the Ismailov family, believe that the kidnapped man is being kept at the Kirov ROVD, which supervises the village of Semender, where the kidnapping took place.

Rustam Ismailov is the brother of Rashid and Arslan Ismailov, who were kidnapped on May 8, 2012. According to the relatives, Arsen Ismailov was beaten and tortured; they wanted to force him to say, who committed the terror act of May 3 at the check point "Alaska-30", and then, he was released. Till present, whereabouts of Rashid Ismailov is not established. On May 14, Andrei Nazarov, Dagestani Prosecutor, stated that he would take Ismailov's case under his personal control.
