Court has sent Colonel Budanov to next examination
The Court Martial of the Northern Caucasus region has decided to send Colonel Yuri Budanov, who is accused of the murder of a Chechen girl, to the next forensic-medical examination.
At the sitting on Wednesday the Court pronounced the judgement to conduct the examination at the Forensic-Medical Laboratory ? 632 in Rostov-on-Don. Specialists has been tasked to check what physical injuries Y. Budanov received in the period from 1995 to 2000 and determine what influence they could have on the health of the accused.
Besides, the Court decided to send inquiries to the Moscow Serbsky Institute and the head of the hospital where Y. Budanov were earlier examined with the request to dispatch the documents on the defendant's examination.
Meanwhile the day before Y. Budanov said he refused to take part in new examinations.
After the judgement to conduct the examination had been pronounced, the Court was adjourned till May 5 because of the default of Y. Budanov's advocate Aleksey Dulimov.
