Engineer from Volgograd is among casualties of aircraft crash in Kazan

As reported by the Chief Department (CD) of the MfE for the Volgograd Region, Pavel Prokofiev, a resident of Volgograd, perished in the plane crash in Kazan. The authorities in the region are going to help his family comprising three children.

"Pavel Prokofiev was born in 1974. Now, his relatives are under the care of psychologists; the issue is considered of their departure to Kazan," an employee of the press service of the above CD, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

Pavel Prokofiev is a native of the Gorodische District; he lived in the Dzerzhinsky District of Volgograd; an engineer by profession; until 2012, he worked as the head of the Operations Department of the Volgograd Oil Pipeline Administration; then, he moved to the "Volgogradgiprotruboprovod", where he headed the line department. He was on his business trip to Kazan.

Earlier it was reported that, according to preliminary data, two residents of Dagestan died in the plane crash in Kazan.
