Besik Kudukhov, two-time Olympic medalist, was killed in road traffic accident near Armavir

In the Krasnodar Territory, Besik Kudukhov, a native of South Ossetia, two-time Olympic medalist and four-time world champion in freestyle wrestling, was killed in a road traffic accident.

According to a source from the Ministry of Youth and Sports in North Ossetia, the car driven by 27-year-old Besik Kudukhov got in a road traffic accident in the Federal Highway near Armavir.

Besik Kudukhov left Vladikavkaz for Krasnodar. This was reported by the message published on the website of the Russian Wrestling Federation.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Russian wrestler Besik Kudukhov won the second place at the 2012 Olympic Games in London in weight of up to 60 kg. He also won a bronze medal at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing in weight of up to 55 kg.
