Ibragim Nurov, 25, a resident of the aul of Abram-Tybe, Neftekumsk District of the Stavropol Territory, who was killed on December 30 near the village of Kayasula, had been earlier kidnapped by unidentified persons on December 27 from the mosque in Neftekumsk, his relatives assert.

Let us remind you that on December 30 a source from the local law enforcement bodies said that an armed skirmish occurred in the forest near the village of Kayasula. According to power agents, two armed men opened fire in response to the demand of policemen to surrender, and the above Ibragim Nurov was shot dead by response fire.

Ibragim Nurov disappeared on December 27, after he left for the Friday prayer to the mosque in Neftekumsk, one of his relatives told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

His body was given out to relatives for burial; and the funeral took place on December 30.

"The person, who conducted the procedure of washing the body before the funeral, told us that the killed man had a broken arm. If injuries can be somehow explained, how can you explain an open arm fracture in a man killed in a shootout by response fire?" said Ibragim's relative.
