Citizen of Georgia lost in Syrian warfare
A citizen of Georgia, Israpil Chatiashvili, has perished at the war in Syria.
The circumstances of Chatiashvili's death are unknown.
The family of the young man lives in the Pankisi Gorge, in the village of Birkiani, the "Georgia-Online" reports.
Local residents confirm the death of Israpil Chatiashvili, the "Front News" reports quoting its correspondent; however, no official confirmation of his death is available.
Natives of the Caucasus take active part in the warfare in Syria and Iraq alongside with the "Islamic State", which is recognized as a terrorist organization in the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, USA, Turkey and other countries, as well as by the Arab League, says the document prepared by the "Caucasian Knot": "Caucasians in the ranks of IS (ISIL)".
