KChR's Government resigns

Today, Rashid Temrezov, the leader of the Karachay-Cherkessian Republic (KChR), has granted the resignation request filed by Murat Kardanov, the Prime Minister of the KChR; Ruslan Kazanokov, the head of the Federal Tax Service Department for the KChR, was appointed the Acting Prime Minister.

The leader of the KChR has accepted the resignation request filed by Prime Minister Murat Kardanov in connection with his transfer to another job, the "Interfax" reports today with reference to Rashid Temrezov.

According to Mr Temrezov, in accordance with the republic's Constitution, when the Prime Minister resigns, all his subordinates are to resign too.

Ruslan Kazanokov was appointed as the Acting Prime Minister.

The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that on June 2, Murat Suyunchev filed a request on early resignation from the post of the senator from the KChR. On June 8, Akhmat Salpagarov replaced Murat Suyunchev at the post of the representative of the Parliament of the KChR at the Federation Council (of a senator).
