Five hunters killed in Suleiman-Stalsky District of Dagestan

In the forests of the Suleiman-Stalsky District of Dagestan, during two days, power agents found the bodies of five killed local residents. This was reported by a source from the law enforcement bodies of Dagestan.

According to the source, on September 18, two local hunters appealed to the Division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of the Suleiman-Stalsky District and filed a complaint on the disappearance of their two comrades in the forest.

"On the same day, during the search carried out in the forest, the bodies of three other local residents were found. They were killed from firearms. The hands of the victims were tied. On Saturday, the bodies of two disappeared hunters were also found with gunshot wounds," the "Interfax" quotes a source from the law enforcement bodies as reporting.

The investigators suggest that the men "were killed by local militants because of the fact that the hunters cooperated with the law enforcement authorities," the RIA "Novosti" reports with reference to a source from the law enforcement bodies.

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in December 2014, in the vicinity of the village of Kakamakhi of the Karabudakhkent District, law enforcers found the remains of three hunters from Kaspiysk, who disappeared in 2010.
