Witness denies investigation data in case of planned terror act in Moscow

According to a former advocate of the defendant accused of plotting a terror act in Moscow, he did not come to the interrogation of defendant Tagir Akhtakhanov, in the course of which he testified that other persons involved in the criminal case had manufactured explosives and stored weapons to attack the "Kyrgyzstan" cinema. Tagir Akhtakhanov has denounced his roommates in exchange for his release from custody and retraction of the accusations of serious crimes filed against him, reports investigator.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 26 and 27, 2013, 15 people were detained in Moscow, including natives of Dagestan, Chechnya, Ingushetia, and Kalmykia. During the search of the apartment where they lived, law enforcers discovered improvised explosive devices (IEDs), reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

On April 15, the Moscow District Military Court interrogated Oleg Dyachkov, a former advocate of Tagir Akhtakhanov. The trial considered one of the main prosecution evidence the interrogation of "Petrov" (a nickname given to Tagir Akhtakhanov by the investigator, who motivated his decision by the need to ensure the defendant's safety) carried out on March 24, 2015.

A specialist of the autonomous non-commercial organization "Centre for Forensic Examinations" has concluded that the signature on the interrogation protocol was made not by Oleg Dyachkov.

The advocate and Tagir Akhtakhanov demanded from the Court to recognize the protocol as inadmissible evidence; however, the panel of judges dismissed their request.

Meanwhile, Oleg Gulevsky, an advocate of defendant Matluba Nasimova, has claimed the disqualification of the entire composition of the panel of judges. According to the advocate, the Court has violated the principles of impartiality, equity, and contentiousness of parties. However, the panel of judges has dismissed the motion.
