Members of Sochi garden partnership ask to stop construction of apartment house
Members of the garden partnership (GPS) "Kommunalnik" have addressed the Mayor of Sochi asking to stop the construction of an apartment house, which was launched in the partnership. The division of municipal land control began a check of the GPS.
On May 20, Alexander Ermolaev, the Head of the Khosta District Department for Municipal Land Control of the Sochi City Administration, started checking the observance of the city planning legislation by the GPS "Kommunalnik".
Vladimir Litvinov told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that the deadline for taking the decision is June 3.
Oleg Petrov, the Chairman of the GPS, has pointed out that in early May he addressed, on behalf of all members of the Partnership, over fifty in number, to Anatoly Pakhomov, the Sochi Mayor, reporting that in one of the land plots, after the change of its owner, a large-scale construction was launched.
According to his story, the new owner had launched his construction with obvious violations of the town-planning regulations established for garden lands.
The man, who introduced himself as "the construction foreman", said that "no violations have been committed by the customer and the developer." According to his version, the foundation "will be used for a two-storey house for one owner, which does not violate any rights of the members of the garden partnership."
The architect Boris Smychkov has confirmed that he had designed the house for private habitation on two floors with a total area of 500 square meters. He stressed that the GPS is located in the G-2 low-rise residential build-up of up to 3 floors, which requires no construction permit.
