Ramzan Kadyrov and six leaders of Southern Russia put on pre-election list of "Edinaya Rossiya" Party

The pre-election list of the "Edinaya Rossiya" (United Russia) Party includes the leaders of Dagestan, Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria and the acting leaders of the Chechen Republic and Karachay-Cherkessia. Besides, the list of the "Edinaya Rossiya" Party includes the Governor of the Rostov Region and the leader of Adygea.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the voting at the election to the State Duma is scheduled for September 18, 2016, a single day of voting. The voting at the elections of the leaders of Chechnya and Karachay-Cherkessia is scheduled for the same day.

According to the press service of the "Edinaya Rossiya" Party, at the meeting, the Supreme Council and the General Council of the Party have supported the initiative of Dmitry Medvedev, the leader the "Edinaya Rossiya" Party to include in the pre-election list 29 people, including nine governors and ten leaders of republics."

The pre-election list includes the leaders of five regions of the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD) and two regions of the Southern Federal District (SFD), including Ramzan Kadyrov (Chechnya), Ramazan Abdulatipov (Dagestan), Vasily Golubev (the Rostov Region), Yunus-Bek Evkurov (Ingushetia), Yuri Kokov (Kabardino-Balkaria), Rashid Temrezov (Karachay-Cherkessia), and Aslan Tkhakushinov (Adygea).
