"Milliyet": IS prepares to send militants from Caucasus to Europe

The organization "Islamic State" (IS), banned in Russia, has announced the mobilization of militants from Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Northern Caucasus for the preparation of new terror acts. This was reported by the newspaper "Milliyet" with reference to the Turkish secret services.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 28, a terror act was committed at the Istanbul airport. As a result, 45 people were killed, and more than 200 others were injured. According to the secret services, the number of suicide bombers included Vadim Osmanov, a native of Dagestan, and the terror act was organized by Akhmed Chataev, an ethnic Chechen.

The IS considers mainly Western Europe and Turkey as a target for the new wave of terror acts, the "Milliyet" reports.

In particular, the General Department of the Turkish Police and the Turkish secret services have got the information that within preparation for terror acts, a group of about 25 IS militants expects to be transferred to Turkey via Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Cyprus.

Starting from June, in Turkey, the secret services and the police are working in enhanced mode.
