Yerevan: police do not let marchers visit prison hospital

In Yerevan, the protesters who demanded to provide medical aid to wounded members of the "Sasna Tsrer" (Daredevils of Sassoun), failed to visit the rebels.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today, about 50 marchers have expressed their concern over the transfer of the wounded members of the "Sasna Tsrer" from a civilian medical centre to a hospital for prisoners. The marchers demanded to provide the wounded rebels with the necessary medical assistance. The protesters met the Armenian Ombudsman and failed to meet the Minister of Justice.

Members of the armed group "Sasna Tsrer", which was organized by supporters of the opposition movement "Constituent Parliament", kept a police regiment building in Yerevan on July 17-31.

The hospital administration did not allow the protestors to visit the wounded members of the group "Sasna Tsrer", states Zarui Postandjyan. According to her, the prison administration has assured that on July 24, the wounded rebels will be visited by surgeons from the medical centre "Erebuni".
