Power agents name casualties in Makhachkala and Izberbash

In the course of the counterterrorist operation (CTO) in the city of Izberbash, as law enforcers have reported, they killed Magomed Khalimbekov, Rinat Osmanov and Bagaudin Magomedov; in a shootout in Makhachkala – Rashid Umakhanov, Aziz Dzhamaludinov and Nazir Kasumov.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported wrote that the CTO regime was introduced in Izberbash and the Kirov District of Makhachkala. Power agents blocked the houses, in which, according to their data, the members of the armed underground, involved in the attack on policemen on August 12, were hiding. According to the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC), today in Izberbash and Makhachkala six persons were killed, including Magomed Khalimbekov, the leader of the local grouping of militants.

According to the "Kommersant", power agents waited until "the gang members gathered at monitored addresses, and dealt a double blow."

A law enforcement source said that the phone of one of the killed militants "had a record of the murder of a policeman and his brother," the "Interfax" reports.
