In Sochi, Atsamaz Khadikov continues series of pickets against "Electrozink" Factory
In Sochi, Atsamaz Khadikov, an activist of the "Ecological Watch for Northern Caucasus" (EcoWatch), held a picket with the demand to take actions against environmental pollution in Vladikavkaz by the "Electrozink" Factory.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 7, Atsamaz Khadikov held a picket in the mini-park in Constitution Street.
For several years, residents of North Ossetia have been holding actions to protest against the activities of the "Electrozink" Metallurgical Factory, one of the largest non-ferrous metallurgy plants in Russia.
On October 10, the activist held another picket in front of the railway station in Adler. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has been explained by Atsamaz Khadikov himself that he chooses the place in front of the railway station, since "a lot of people coming from all over the country arrive there, and there is a need to draw attention of the people from different parts of Russia to the problems of North Ossetia."
The activist has spread his posters on the ground. He also walked near the railway station building with the posters in his hands, reading: "Greenpeace! Ministry of Environment! Rosprirodnadzor! Save Terek and Caspian Sea from discharges of 'Electrozink' Factory!"
